MLK Weekend – VOLUNTEER! NY Common Pantry Food Prep
Sunday, January 18, 2026 • 29 Tevet 5786
10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Brotherhood Synagogue’s Interfaith, Racial Justice and Social Action Committees seek volunteers to help prepare brown bag meals for New York Common Pantry, an organization that works toward the reduction of hunger and food insecurity in NYC. We encourage and welcome family participation but all are welcome to volunteer on this weekend when we remember Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a day of service opportunities at Brotherhood.
If you are unable to participate but would like to make a donation in support of this program, you can make a donation online here and select “Interfaith Programming” in the dropdown menu. We would welcome your support in any amount!
Our morning volunteer event for NY Common Pantry is filled but you can volunteer in the afternoon at Brotherhood with Repair the World. Register here
