At 7pm Rabbi Alder will lead a study session on “Repentance: The Meaning and Practice of Teshuvah.” Almost every day, in ways large and small, we hurt others, most often those closest to us, in ways that we regret. We know in our hearts that our words and deeds do not reflect our true selves. These inevitable shortcomings, if not addressed and redressed, bring guilt and shame and undermine our relationships. We want to undo what we have done, but how? We want to reclaim our integrity, but where do we begin?

Refreshments will be served, and we will conclude with the ceremony of Havdalah. At 8pm, Cantor Yager will lead us in a 45 minute service  introducing the themes and melodies of the High Holy Days.
